In 2021, The Great Lakes Working Group Dog Association began as a group of confirmation friends who established a club to promote the Working Breeds that we all love so much.

     The club membership ranges from AKC and UKC judges, ring stewards, owner-handlers, professional handlers, fanciers, and breeders. We are involved in a variety of dog-related sports such as conformation, agility, rally, barn hunt, scent trial, and obedience.  

     We are working toward our AKC affiliation with an eye to matches to be followed by Working Dog Speciality Shows. Stay tuned for future updates about our upcoming events, and connect with us on our FB page.
